This fine French Empire Gilded and Silvered Mantel Clock. Made and signed Le Roy et Fils of Paris circa 1812.
The Theme of this Clock is "Power" The tazza with swan's neck handles and case quarter columned by Silvered pilasters topped by Eagles and footed by a large cats' claws. The sides mounted with the torch of knowledge surrounded with a wreath of laurel leaves.
