French mantle clock. From the French restoration period of around 1830. This clock depicts a beautiful young lady holding a gardeners scythe, surmounted on a wonderful alabaster case, which is in turn surmounted with high quality and detailed gilt flora in classic French style. The clock is sitting on its original plinth covered in a wonderful red velvet. This clock measures (including Plinth) 14” (36cm) high, 18” (46cm) wide and 6” (15cm) deep.
