French silvered and gilt mantle clock. With painted biscuit porcelain panels and dial. This clock has an 8-day duration, striking the numbers on the hours and once on the half via a gong with rack striking. This clock is made by the renowned French maker "Marti of Paris". This clock is a fine example of this wonderful clockmaker's work. The serial number is 868. This clock measures 8" (20cm) wide, 6" (15cm) deep, and 13" (34cm) high. The panels depict scenes of nature and Cherubs enjoying wonderful spring-like weather.
