Scottish stick barometer. Made of mahogany with shell inlay, satinwood, boxwood and holly wood cross banding and stringing. Fitted with ivory/bone register plates and vernier. 38" (96cm) high. Signed "Gardier", who were prolific makers of fine quality barometers in Glasgow between 1773-92.
