French mantel clock also known as a table clock. This wonderful example has biscuit porcelain panels and dial, decorated with blue designs and a gilded case. The case also has surmounted to it silvered spheres. The movement strikes on the hour, the number, and once on the half past. It is of 8-day duration and strikes on a gong. Made by "Japy Freres a' Paris", serial No. 7085. Measuring 13" (34cm) high, 6" (15cm) deep, 8" (20cm) wide.
