The London ClockMaker

French mantel clock with Shagreen covering and ormolu mounts to the case, circa 1855. This is a natural colour Shagreen. It strikes the number on the hour and once on the half, onto a bell. The clock has a 12-piece cartouche dial and stands 12" (31cm) high, 7" (18cm) wide and 4½" (11cm) deep. It was made by Bernard Lyon a' Paris.
