French mantel clock, with a gilt and bronzed case. Standing 15" (38cm) high 10½" (26cm) wide 4" (10cm) deep. Representing a Disciple embracing the cross. This clock strikes the number on the hour and once on the half past on a bell regulated by a count wheel, with a silk suspension. serial number 878 circa 1780.
