French round top mantle clock from the French Empire period dating to around 1810. 14" (35cm) high 7½" (19cm) wide 4¼" (11cms) deep. With an Ormolu relief plaque depicting love, knowledge & victory on a vert bronzed case and gilded ormolu mounts & Gothicesque dial. It has a Silk suspension and is of 8-day duration.
