The London ClockMaker

French white marble portico clock, circa 1820. 16" (40cm) high, 9" (24cm) wide, 4½" (11cm) deep. It has an 8-day movement fitted with a silk suspension. Strikes the number on the hour and once on the half, regulated by a count wheel, onto a bell. Lovely gilded Sunburst pendulum. The case has wonderful veined marble and gilded mounts.
